Hello, I'm Cindy, and I'm delighted to meet you here. My students call me 叶老师. I'm a native Chinese speaker, language enthusiast, certified teacher, and a mother of two in a bilingual, predominantly English-speaking family.
In the northern Seattle area, resources for learning Chinese are scarce, with even my local library lacking books in Chinese. This gap inspired me to create this platform, SpeakChineseNow, 说中文, to help people speak and communicate in a new language—a mantra I share with my children.
To support Chinese language speaking and listening, I've created a Spotify channel, SpeakChineseNow, where I add recordings periodically.
